Installation and Maintenance — EPQ96-2
Install the unit in a suitable 92 × 92 mm panel cutout and confirm that the DC supply remains within the specified range. Wiring should be checked against the selected output mode because voltage, current, and PWM configurations use different terminal arrangements. For CAN applications, verify J1939 wiring, termination, and signal scaling before commissioning.
During replacement, record the existing start/end values, integrating-time setting, preset behavior, manual/automatic configuration, and governor or AVR selection. The connected governor’s accepted signal range must also be confirmed.
Personally, I would verify the governor input characteristics before energizing a replacement. A technically correct potentiometer can still produce the wrong control response if the output range or scaling does not match the governor.
